“Sheryl!” Renee called out to her.
“Yeah” Sheryl answered from her room.
“Lance is here” Renee informed her.
Sheryl let out a little sound of annoyance before she called back to Renee and said
“Am coming”
Sheryl got up from her bed where she was making notes for her next class. She walked to her bathroom and looked at herself in the mirror.
“Be nice” she told herself as she pulled her black hair back in a pony tail. When she had secured her hair, she moved into her room, put on her shoes and grabbed her phone and library card. She then opened her bedroom door and proceeded into the lounge.
“Hey” Lance said.
“Hi” was the only response Sheryl offered.
Renee watched them from the couch with a small smile on her lips. They looked cute together she thought but she didn’t dare say it.
“Um shall we go?” Sheryl asked him.
“Yeah sure” he answered as he moved towards the door.
“I’m off” she told Renee.
