Universal Warriors (Chapter 5, Page 32)

“Then what is the problem?”
“I just think he’s immature”
“Aren’t all boys in one way or the other?”
“I suppose so” Sheryl said quietly.
“Want my advice?”
“Of course ma” Sheryl said in a welcoming tone.
“Don’t be judgmental; if you make an effort to know him you might be surprised”
“I doubt I’m wrong about him”
“Sweetie, find out for sure” her mother insisted.
“I’ll try but no promises”
“Let me know how it goes”
“Okay, I have to go please say hi to papa for me”
“Okay baby, goodnight”
“Goodnight ma” Sheryl said before she cut the line. Maybe she should consider what her mother was saying, after all mothers know best. Well she wasn’t exactly going to roll out the welcome wagon but she would at least try to be a little friendlier.
“Yes, that was the least she could do” she thought as she fell into a deep slumber.
