Chapter 5
Seth pulled up his car into his usual parking spot and turned off the engine. He opened the car door and stepped out of the car and locked it. He stood there for a minute and drew in a deep breath before he put on his dark sunglasses and started making his way to what looked like an abandoned chemical plant. It had the same grey granite stone structure, standing quite few feet high. It had the same exhaust outlets that usually emitted smoke. The same secure big gate like doors that enclosed you in a secluded world once you passed through them. He got to the doors and slid his security pass through the slot and put his thumb on the fingerprint recognition machine for validation. The red security light turned green and the gates slid open. Seth quickly walked through and walked straight to the elevator doors ahead of him. He pressed the button on the right side of the elevator doors and immediately the door hissed open. He got in and removed his sun glasses after he had pressed the ground floor button. The elevator begun to descend and Seth let his mind wonder over to Sheryl. He felt frustrated, he was too over qualified for job he was doing. He felt like some pervert. Keeping a constant eye on her was boring and he hadn’t joined this type of profession just so he could spy on teenage girls. He wanted action, he wanted to kill and he wanted to feel that sense of power again. The power he felt when he looked at his victim in the eye as they pleaded for their life. That sweet sweet feeling. He drew in another long breath and licked his thin lips. He wanted to feel that again, even just once but instead he was busy playing private eye.
