“You run a red light”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about” Lance responded with a chuckle.
“Selective amnesia?” Ed said sarcastically.
“Something like that” Lance laughed.
“You still cheated in my books”
“If I recall correctly, you had a head start”
“Touché” Ed said and shook Lance’s hand to congratulate him.
“The best always wins” Lance said.
“We will see if that’s what you are going to say next time” Ed warned jokingly.
“Yeah next time” Lance said as he walked to the boot of his car to get his luggage. Ed turned around so he could do the same and noticed Renee and Sheryl for the first time.
“Hello ladies” he said and winked at them.
“Hi” Renee smiled back but Sheryl said nothing, she just stared at Ed disapprovingly.
“Need help with your bags” Ed offered.
“Sure” Renee said quite intrigued by Ed.
“Give me a second and I’ll help you” Ed said as he took out his own bags.
