Universal Warriors (Chapter 2, Page 12)

The car park was tarred and the parking spots were clearly marked by white paint. Above the parking spots was a huge cover that extended to the very last parking spot and held up by steel poles which offered shade to parked cars. Just beyond the poles was a path that one could use to get to where their car was parked and further still was a huge nicely trimmed hedge that formed a border between the car park and the grounds of the school.
“Pretty cool, isn’t it?” Renee grinned.
“Yes it is” Sheryl responded as she pulled out her bags from the car. When they had offloaded everything, they paid Seth what they owed him and said goodbye.
Seth got into the car and started it, he mumbled under his breath as he reversed out of the space he had parked in and drove towards the gates. He was just about to speed out when two other cars sped in; he quickly turned the steering wheel to the left and narrowly missed a head on collision. He muttered something in annoyance and steadied the car and drove out of the school gates.
Lance and Ed came to halt right next to Renee and Sheryl. They both turned off their engines and got out of their cars.
“I won that one” Lance declared with a huge smile as the adrenaline pumped through his veins.
“You broke the rules” Ed accused as he walked towards Lance with a wide grin on his face.
“How is that?”
