“He will never change” she said to herself.
Lance pulled up at a house ten houses away from his. He came out of black Porsche and walked to the intercom on the pillar next to the gate. He pressed the button and heard a buzz before he said
“Ed, let’s go”
“What took you so long?” Ed asked from inside the house.
“Does it matter, am here now” Lance responded.
“Am coming and move your car out of the way” Ed said and the intercom went dead.
Lance went back to his car and moved it a few yards down the road so that Ed could drive out. He just turned off the engine when he saw the big black gates sliding open and heard the screech of the tyres of the car Ed was racing down the drive way. Ed sharply turned his black Jeep into the open road and sped past Lance as he hooted his horn to signal him to follow him.
Lance smiled.
“It’s a race you want, it’s one you’ll get” he said as he turned up the music on his stereo, ignited his engine and sped after him.
