Universal Warriors (Chapter 3, Page 15)

CHAPTER 3
The next week was filled with signing registration forms and registering for classes they would take that semester. Sheryl and Renee had become quite well acquainted during this time and they practically went everywhere together. They hardly saw much of Lance and Ed and Renee was beginning to wonder if they were on campus at all. She even suggested that she and Sheryl went over to their room to check to see if they were there. Sheryl of course vigorously refused, wondering why Renee had taken such an interest in these two boys. She for one did not necessarily hate them but then again she wasn’t their biggest fan either. She found them quite immature in their ways especially after the entrance they made. Why they would want to fly down roads, running red lights and causing so much commotion she did not know. Didn’t they know that there were others using these roads and it was those innocent law abiding citizens that got hurt by such hooliganism.
But this did not seem to cross Renee’s mind, she thought them cool, edgy and a breath of fresh air. Sheryl guessed Renee felt like this because of her uptight upbringing and that now she was away from home, she could let loose and explore all the things she had ever dreamt of. As understandable as that might be, it was no excuse for entertaining such behavior. Sheryl decided that she would keep her distance and whatever Renee decided to do was her business.

Miss. Witt looked at the list of the students who had signed up for her classes and paused. She wondered what this batch would be like. Last year’s admissions were a disaster in her opinion, they hardly managed to obtain a C grade average in her classes with the exception of those selected few star students that she had taken so
