her way out of class when Lance called her. She stopped in her tracks and turned around to face him as he walked up to her.
“Yes?” she said when he stopped in front of her.
“Hi” he said with a smile.
“Hello” she replied without returning his smile.
“I’d like to start this as soon as possible” he informed her.
“How soon is soon?”
“Today”
“Today?” she said wide eyed, she was thinking more along the lines of mid-week.
“Well, I thought we could come up with the plan today and we can begin building the model and researching tomorrow”
Sheryl had to admit that this was a better option, this way they would be done soon and she wouldn’t have to spend too much time with him.
“Okay, you can come by my room after lunch because am free for the rest of the afternoon”
“Cool, see you then” he said with a smile. Sheryl quickly turned around to avoid having to smile back and walked out of the classroom.
Lance entered his room and found Ed stretched out on the couch. He walked towards the lounge and collapsed into the couch opposite Ed. Ed had his eyes closed......
