“I don’t understand?” she said puzzled
“I went to see her and I heard a scream, when I got to her room she was bleeding and unconscious” he said still a bit shaken by the experience.
“Is she Sheryl?” she asked assuming she was the girl that Lance had been ranting and raving about.
He nodded his response.
“Come here” she said opening her arms to comfort her brother. Lance embraced his sister and sighed.
“I’m not sure what’s going sis, but whatever it is; it’s not good” he said in a worried tone.
“Just be there for her, it’s all you can do” she advised her brother as she hugged him tightly.
Chapter 10
Sheryl opened her eyes and she immediately closed them due to the pounding in her head. She felt horrible; there were all sorts of aches and pains that she was feeling. The most severe being the headache she was experiencing. She opened her eyes again, this time slowly. She looked at the ceiling above her and she didn’t recognize it. She slowly pulled her body up so she could sit up in the bed. She looked around the room; didn’t recognize anything in it. She wondered where she was because the room she was in looked nothing like a hospital room. She tried to......
