Universal Warriors (Chapter 11, Page 63)

....to tell Sheryl everything but she hid some things from Pierce and Gill because Sheryl had begged her to. The more they uncovered the more the realized how dangerous this whole thing was. Sheryl didn’t want her parents to know too much because she felt responsible for the chaos in their lives.
All they had wanted was a child and they had gotten one and a whole lot more than they had ever bargained for. Sheryl knew that their lives could well be in danger because of her; so she protected them the best way she knew how. She made sure they didn’t know too much, at least not enough to get them killed and Sandra had understood where she was coming from. Of course she felt bad about hiding things from them but this was her cross to bear and she wasn’t going to make her parents suffer for it.



Chapter 11
The car pulled up the dirt road and stopped. The dark figure switched off the engine and then got out and locked it. The figure silently walked up the stony path leading to the entrance of the cabin. He stopped in front of the cabin door and pulled the keys from his pocket and put them in the key hole and turned the lock. He opened the door and entered the cabin. He walked to the sitting area, sat down and took off his mask. He felt the cool air pass over his face and he sighed. Tonight had been a disaster, firstly he hadn’t gotten what he had gone there for and secondly he hadn’t......
